Pfizer marks down the price on Prevnar 4 countries of the third world
American pharmaceutical company Pfizer Inc. And British GlaxoSmithKline have agreed about deliveries of vaccines 4 pneumonia prophylactics in underdeveloped countries within the limits of the Global alliance on bacterination and immunising (GAVI Alliance) under much lower prices. Agreement GAVI calculated for 10 years, will be financed at the expense of subsidies from 5 countries at a rate of 1,5 billion US dollar and tools of Fund of Bill and Melindy Gates. One dose of a vaccine will cost 3,5 US dollars. It is expected, that in the first 5 years it will be possible to salvage about 1 million life. Pfizer will give pneumococcal vaccine Prevnar.
